RÖDERS.

The company.

A look back at more than 150 years of experience.

Tradition meets innovation.

For more than 150 years, Soltau-based RÖDERS has been a leading, globally renowned supplier to the market for innovative solutions in felt.

We began in 1851

as a department of the bedspring manufacturer Carl Breiding & Sohn responsible for wool felt production.

In 1922

the change to a separate company took place, when we assumed our current name: Gebr. RÖDERS AG.
Since that time we have concentrated on manufacturing high-quality wool felts.

In 1966

our product range was expanded to include needle felts.

In 1972

the production of the first filter felts was derived.

Then in 1986

we patented the manufacture of needle felt liners for trenchless pipework rehabilitation.

In our search for innovative solutions we regard ourselves as your partner and work with you to open up new fields of application for the future and system solutions. More and more of our special solutions are coming into use around the world: be it the rehabilitation of pipework systems, filtration, one of many technical applications in industry, for design objects or as a high-quality wool felt material, for example for the footwear industry. .

DIN EN ISO 9001 Zertifikat

Quality is always in some way connected to management.

We were one of the first production companies in the industry to gain DIN EN ISO 9001 certification. With this, we have made a name for ourselves in recent years as a dependable industry partner for the development and manufacture of highly specialized textile applications.

Continuing investment in equipment and ongoing education and training of our employees form the basis of quality, market-oriented products.

In our in-house laboratory, alongside intensive testing of our manufactured goods and new developments, we also carry out tests on behalf of our customers.

We make an effort – for our environment.

All our objectives, processes and functions are oriented to the requirements of our clients, and here we take our responsibility for sustainable production very seriously.

We use exclusively certified green electricity throughout the entire production and have also installed a waste minimization system that guarantees to optimize the saving of resources.

Nor does our responsibility towards the environment end with the production system; it also extends to our project-related research work with higher-education institutions and our active participation in EU environmental protection projects.

Further, thanks to a cross-partner quality assurance system we assure an absolutely minimal susceptibility to error and thus an assured, sustainable rehabilitation outcome for pipework network operators.
