The hot gas filtration requires particularly resistant fibers. Known fiber types are m-Aramide, Polyimide, Melamine or PPS.

A combination with coatings, finishes or antistatic properties is also possible. From this we manufacture, for example:

  • Products with PTFE coating (e.g. FUTUR)
  • Electrically conductive products to prevent electrostatic buildup
  • If necessary with additional equipment such as hydrolysis and acid protection or PTFE in a full bath
  • Pleatable filter media
  • Custom products

Adaptation of SOLTA®FILT
to the filtration application.

There are numerous ways of optimizing the filter material to its application.

Pleatable filter felts with high dimensional stability, tear resistance and low thickness. These properties distinguish our products for demanding applications:

Increasing the filtration efficiency
of SOLTA®FILT.

Particulate matter is a very important and responsible topic. There are smaller particles must be removed from the air, and therefore there is often also a requirement for high air permeability. At first glance these requirements may appear contradictory, but they can be reconciled. We can offer you, for example, the following options.

A large number of these products have been certified under IFA class M (formerly BIA).

Excellent fine particulate separation and simultaneously high air permeability characterize our exceptional filter felts, which are used in particular in fine particulate filters.

The basis of these felts is a special microporous PTFE coating on the inflow side. This allows a high level of separation of particular matter on one hand, and at the same time this structure offers a very high air permeability and a higher mechanical stability compared to PTFE membranes.

The PTFE surface has an anti-adhesive character, which improves the dedusting of the filter medium.

Additionally, our FUTUR coating can also be combined with antistatic properties.

The IFA test certificate we hold is for dust class M.

Excellent fine particulate separation and simultaneously high air permeability characterize our exceptional filter felts, which are used in particular in fine particulate filters.

This product features a particularly reduced pore size on the inflow side plus its full-bath PTFE finishing. This allows a high level of separation of particulate matter without the need for a coating.

The IFA test certificate we hold is for dust class M.

Our AGLA-TF products are also available in antistatic versions.

NANO depth finishing is based on the use of nano particles and is renowned for its extremely repellent and self-cleaning properties. In filtration this finishing can help reach a lower level of clean gas content.

Advantages of our filter media with NANO depth finishing:

  • Reduced clean gas content (up to -50%)
  • Extremely water repellent
  • Improved hydrolysis stability of the filter medium
  • Self-cleaning properties and thus better dedusting
  • Improved resistance to abrasion
  • Finishing throughout the entire material depth

Specifications

  

Extra-fine fibers reduce the pore sizes and increase the number of fibers in the filter material. The result is improved separation.

If required, these extra-fine fibers can be used in all our needle felt products.

One of our own developments is the NANOFIBER layer. Here nanofibers are attached to the inflow side in order to trap even the finest particles.

Our products with extra-fine fibers are also available in antistatic versions.
