SOLTA®FILT|THERM
Filtration of solids from gases above 150°C temperature
Hot gas filtration requires particularly resistant fibers. Known fiber types are m-aramid, polyimide, melamine or PPS.
A combination with coatings, finishes or antistatic properties is also possible. From this we manufacture e.g.:
- Products with PTFE coating (e.g. FUTUR)
- Conductive products to prevent electrostatic charges
- If necessary, with additional finishes such as hydrolysis and acid protection or PTFE in the full bath
- Pleatable filter media
- Customized products

Adaptation of SOLTA®FILT
to the filtration application.
In order to be able to optimally adapt the filter material to its application, there are many possibilities. Some examples are given below:

Increasing the filtration efficiency of SOLTA®FILT.
Particulate matter is a very important and responsible issue. Smaller and smaller particles are to be removed from the air, while there is often also a desire for high air permeability. These requirements seem contradictory at first glance, yet they are compatible. We can offer you the following possibilities, for example.
A large number of these products are certified according to IFA class M (formerly BIA).
FUTUR: : Yellow surface coating that provides a combination of fine dust filtration with high air permeability.
The basis is a special microporous PTFE coating on the upstream side. On the one hand, this allows fine dusts to be separated very well; at the same time, this structure offers very high air permeability and higher mechanical stability compared to PTFE membranes.
The PTFE surface has an anti-adhesive character, thus improving the cleaning of the filter medium.
In addition, our FUTUR coating can also be combined with antistatic properties.
The existing IFA test certificate indicates dust class M.

AGLA-TF: Fine dust filter with full bath PTFE finish
Functional surfaces such as barrier layers or slip-resistant coatings can improve the usability of the product.
Very good fine dust separation with simultaneously high air permeability characterize our exceptional filter felts, which are used in particular in fine dust filters.
This product is characterized by a particularly reduced pore size on the upstream side and the PTFE full bath finish. This makes it possible to achieve very good separation of fine dusts without using a coating.
The IFA test certificate indicates dust class M.

NANO: Products with an extremely repellent surface, some of which can exhibit significantly increased filtration efficiency.
The NANO depth finish is based on the use of nanoparticles and is known for its extremely repellent and self-cleaning properties. In filtration, this finish can help lower clean gas content.

Ultra-fine fibers/NANOFIBER: Ultra-fine fibers reduce pore size and increase filtration efficiency. A nanofiber overlay is also possible.
Ultra-fine fibers reduce the pores and increase the number of fibers in the filter material. The result is improved separation.
Ultra-fine fibers can be used in all of our needlefelt products upon request.
One of our further developments is the NANOFIBER layer. Here, nanofibers are applied to the upstream side to retain even the finest particles.
Our products with ultra-fine fibers are also available as antistatic versions.
