Product Developer (m/w/d) Liner Technologies

We are currently looking for an experienced Product Developer (m/f/d) for liner technologies. The diverse range of tasks includes, among others:

  • Independent management of product development projects until series maturity, including ensuring continuous and complete documentation
  • Creation of sewer rehabilitation concepts
  • Development of methods and processes for implementing rehabilitation strategies
  • Construction and statistical calculations for liner designs
  • Supervision of approval procedures for rehabilitation systems
  • Testing and evaluation of new nonwoven formation technologies, laminating and coating processes
  • Collaboration with interfaces, customers, suppliers, and other partners
  • Contributing to the creation and monitoring of the business plan

The following experiences and skills are required:

  • Completed (scientific) university degree (Diploma (FH) / Bachelor / Master) in civil engineering, environmental engineering, or a comparable technical field
  • Extensive expertise in sewer rehabilitation, coating/laminating, and resin systems
  • Specific knowledge relevant to the use of our products, such as civil engineering, pipe rehabilitation, inliner methods
  • Ability to lead and motivate employees
  • Several years of professional experience
  • Excellent project management skills are essential, Lean Management is desirable
  • Collaboration and communication skills, as well as negotiation skills
  • Language skills: English, additional language is advantageous
  • Good IT skills (MS Office programs, AutoCAD, and iTwo)

  • Ensuring compliance with legal requirements
  • Performing the required inspections according to DGUV (German Social Accident Insurance) regulations on fixed and portable equipment, including documentation
  • Defining inspection procedures and cycles, as well as verifying their effectiveness
  • Ensuring the proper condition of all electrical systems and equipment in the company
  • Performing assembly, installation, and maintenance work
  • Training and instructing electrical personnel
  • Coordinating and supervising the work of external service providers
  • Conducting and updating risk assessments and creating related operating instructions

The following experiences and skills are required:

  • Completed training as an electrical engineering technician/master
  • Several years of professional experience in the installation and operation of electrical systems and machinery is desirable
  • Authorization to inspect electrical systems and devices
  • Excellent knowledge of recognized standards and regulations (e.g., DGUV V3 or VDE 0701/0702)
  • Independent and reliable working style
  • Entrepreneurial thinking, strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills
  • IT affinity and proficient knowledge of MS Office

The following experiences and skills are required:

  • Successfully completed vocational training (technical, manual) and further education as a Textile Industrial Foreman/Technician
  • Leadership experience at the team or shift supervisor level in industrial production
  • High level of commitment, initiative, and solution-oriented work style
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, conflict resolution ability, and a hands-on mentality
  • Good knowledge of electronic data processing: MS Office, production control systems, and operational control systems
  • English language skills are desirable
